From two nights ago (June 4) when we were having a storm and the cable was out. Jon reports on this most important & historic event. It's ~9 mins., but well worth it:

A friend sent this article about sarcasm and the brain. I've always had trouble getting when Race was serious or not & I'm not really fond of Monty Python (well, except The Meaning of Life), however The Daily Show is one of my favorites. Maybe my brain deterioration will leave me deprived of these pleasures?

If you didn't see The Daily Show on March 18 after Obama's race speech and have a high-speed connection, you might be interested in seeing a couple of the skits from that night. This is new to me! If you know about these things personally, I'd be interested in knowing your opinion of them and how they apply. I certainly believe in a diversity of thought and that people with differences in abilities have worth and should be treated fairly (though it's not always clear what "fair" is).
